God Loves You
In His Word, the Bible, God says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3) The holy Creator of the universe loves you and wants you to be a part of His family. But there is one thing that God cannot permit in His kingdom, that is sin.
Your Sin Separates You from God
Romans 3:23 says, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. All are born with a sinful nature and are guilty of wrongdoing. The punishment for sin is eternal separation from God. But God made a way that you and I would not have to be punished for our sin.
Christ Died for Your Sin
God the Father sent Jesus, His perfect Son to be born and live on this earth as a man. Jesus never sinned, but was condemned as a criminal. Although He was innocent, He willingly died, taking the punishment for your sins, satisfying the justice of God on your behalf. Hebrews 9:22 says, Without the shedding of blood, there is no [forgiveness]. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead to prove His claims and confirm His accepted sacrifice. And now because of what Jesus did for you, you can have your sins forgiven.
Believe and Receive
John 1:12 promises, But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. Believe that Jesus died for you and rose again, receive Him as your Savior, and God will make you His child forever.
Dear God, I know I have sinned and now turn away from sin. I believe that Jesus died to take the punishment for my sin and rose again. I receive You now as my Savior. Take away my sin and make me Your child just as You promised. In Jesus name, Amen
When you become Gods child, He wants you to get to know Him better by reading His Word, the Bible, by praying, by telling others about Him and fellowshipping regularly with others who are in His family.
